completing the sale of some rental properties in order to create an endowment fund, the income
from which may be used for social ministry and outreach. Additionally, the board serves as a
liaison, in behalf of the diocese, with Charleston County which leases the diocesan-owned
property known as St. John's Mission Center, in the East Side area of Charleston.

The South Carolina Episcopal Home at Still Hopes is a Continuing Care Retirement Community
(CCRC) sponsored by the Diocese of South Carolina and the Diocese of Upper South Carolina.

those requiring some degree of personal care; an Alzheimer Special Care Center and a 66-bed
