We’re delighted to invite you to join in celebrating the Consecration of Bishop-elect Mark Lawrence as the XIV Bishop of South Carolina. Visit this site for up-to-date information regarding the Consecration and surrounding events.
Cathedral Location
The Cathedral is located at 126 Coming Street, Charleston, SC. The Cathedral is two blocks west of Marion Square, two blocks north of Calhoun Street. View a map of the area.
Seating
All are invited to join in celebrating the Consecration, however seating in the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul is limited to 1,100. We will provide additional seating in two nearby venues where participants will view the service on a large screen and provision will be made for as full liturgical and sacramental participation as possible. The two alternate venues are St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at 405 King Street and St. Marks Episcopal Church at 16 Thomas Street, Charleston, SC. Live streaming of the service via the internet will also be provided.

The preferred clergy vesture is cassock, surplice, and red and/or festive stole.

Handicapped Access
On the day of the consecration handicapped-accessible transportation will be available to the Cathedral from local parking lots. If you will need such assistance please reserve your ride prior to January 17 by calling Tel-A-Ride at 843-724-7420 (ext. 2).
