To respond to the Great Commission by so presenting Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit that all may come to know Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord in the fellowship of His Church

Builders for Christ

Saint Paul invited the first century Christians to acknowledge their oneness by giving generously to support churches in need. That same spirit is alive in Builders for Christ. Every adult and child in the diocese is encouraged to give $25 to help build up churches throughout the diocese. (Though $25 is requested, any amount is appreciated.)

What is Builders for Christ?
It’s a way for individuals throughout the diocese to band together to meet the needs of specific churches in the diocese. Gifts are used to fund projects as diverse as building and land purchases, renovations, initial staffing, and community ministry expansion.

What has the Level of Participation Been?
As of August 2007, 10% of the Diocese had participated, giving $52,289. The report Year-to-Date for 2007 is now on-line. See your church’s level of participation.

How are Builders for Christ Projects Selected?
Every year a committee meets to review applications for funding. A priority list is developed and grants are given as funding is received.
